young women who are educated and trained in urban English-medium
schools. GE, American Express, Standard Chartered Bank, CitiBank, British

Airways, Microsoft, AOL, Time Warner, HP, Dell Computers, Prudential

Insurance, Morgan Stanley, and Mark & Spencer all employ between 35 and
65% of women in their call centres. Tele-tech India, a joint venture BPO

Company between Tele-tech and the Bharti Group, offers its employees the
option of four-day work weeks as opposed to the standard five, as well as

hourly rates with a minimum number of work hours per week. ICT has created

but not foolproof. As a result of digitalisation, cybercrimes such as plagiarism,
fee fraud, identity theft, and forged documents and identification cards are on

               the rise (Yadav, 2022).
