Digitalisation facilitates the creation and maintenance of crime and criminal
databases, promotes interstate police communication, aids in the recording and
analysis of data for crime control, and keeps individuals in view (Yadav,
2022).
Digitalisation in Banking and Finance
To remain competitive, the banking sector and financial institutions must be
digitalised. A report on the digital transformation of the middle market
revealed that over 68 % of financial services are digitalised. Digitalisation has
led to increased customer satisfaction, simplified transactional activities, and
better financial advice. Customers now prefer digital channels because they
are efficient, secure, and save time. Digitalisation has enabled online business
and e-marketing platforms (Yadav, 2022).
Digitalisation in Healthcare
The digital uprising is revolutionizing the healthcare system, allowing for
faster diagnosis and more effective treatment. In addition, it holds great
potential for healthcare education and patient management enhanced with
digital medical chips or instruments including digital thermometers, pulse
oximeters, digital blood pressure machines, diabetic measuring kits,
pregnancy tests, and ovulation kits. Digitalisation provides more power and
progress by removing obstacles. Digitalisation enables faster diagnosis,
convenient data delivery, advanced personalised treatment, improved
healthcare services, enhanced drug discovery and clinical development,
enhanced financial outcomes, and enhanced medical efficacy (Yadav, 2022).
