their sexual needs and as a habit, they involve with that. Its emphasis that the Civil
war cause to increase prostitution rapidly in that area. Reuben Balfour With Jessica
Allen (2014), on the theme “A Review of The Literature on Sex Workers and Social
Exclusion”. This research paper examines causes which described by literature to
drive people into sex work such violence, power, family breakdown, cut off
discrimination, low education, housing, an also it evaluates the results of sex work in
further exclusion such as stigmatization, mental illness, coercion, criminalization etc.
3. Problem Statement
This study was conducted under the research problem which is what are the affected
causes for women’s sexuality becoming into prostitute. Although female sexuality is
a personal matter, under the prostitution it has become a commodity. In this problem
without an acceptable justification prostitutes have been labeled as a marginalized
group within the mass community and it has been labelling as deviant behavior and
beyond that prostitution has become a social problem in Srilankan context. But the
causes which women’s involvement into prostitution is not their personal thing in
most of the times. It affects number of socio- economic matters. So, exploring those
