Editorial Preface
I indeed consider it a privilege to be the Editor in Chief of the ‘RASAS-2022’
Abstract Proceedings publication and I appreciate the support extended to me by
the members of the Editorial Board, Prof. S.P. Kahandagamage, Mr. M.M.R.K.
Mihira Bandara, Ms. I.R.N. Sandamali Pieris, Mr. R.M. Wijayawardhana, Mr.
Waruna Gamage. I express my sincere gratitude to the Vice Chancellor of the
University of Ruhuna and the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social
Sciences of the University of Ruhuna for their guidance and encouragement, the
Editorial Team and the Reviewers for their continued support and contribution
given in ensuring the academic standards of this publication.
It is indeed with great pleasure that we present the Abstracts Volume of RASAS
2022. It is undoubtedly promising to witness the participation of a considerable
number of young researchers from National Universities. The publication
contains 47 abstracts which were selected out of 74 on the recommendation of an
expert panel of Reviewers.
Congratulations to all the young researchers presenting research papers at
RASAS-2022. It is our aspiration that you would become versatile researchers
capable of gaining and sharing novel and valuable knowledge in the future.
While I wish all the participants a successful and pleasant research experience at
RASAS-2022, I take this opportunity to highlight the importance of RASAS, as
it is primarily for students’ research enhancement.
