Pratibha Intercultural Center Competition 2024
The students studying the courses of Ruhunu University Cultural Center participated in the 2024 Pratibha Intercultural Center Competition held by the Ministry of Buddha Sasana Religious and Cultural Affairs on 29.09.2024 representing the southern province round.The students studying dance courses won the first place under the creative dance category of local and foreign traditional dances (group mixed) and the students studying the music course also won the first place under the group playing competition category under the theme of "Tomorrow". The students who are taking courses in the Cultural Center of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Management and Finance, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Oceanology participated in these competitions. The dedication of the officials of the cultural center, including the dance teacher, the music teacher and the student Praveen Amaratunga, was fundamental to this victory. Special respect to the Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Cultural Center Coordinator of Ruhuna University for giving the necessary instructions and guidance for this tournament.
