               Abstract


               This paper investigates online teaching and learning in Sri Lanka, emphasizing its significance
               for students with disabilities in higher education. As the digital education landscape evolves
               globally, ensuring equitable online learning opportunities for disabled students is paramount.
               This research tailors insights from established literature to the specific challenges faced by
               these  students  in  Sri  Lanka,  such  as  communication  issues  and  restricted  engagement.  It
               underscores the benefits of online education, including flexibility and access to assistive tools.
