Mixed methodology has been used for the study. Primary data collection was
done through Google Drive and forms. We prepared a questionnaire and
distributed it by using the researcher‘s personal Facebook accounts. A focus
group was any person who had a Facebook account and answered the
questionnaire. However, one person can fill out the questionnaire only once
through his or her email. By using this restriction, we blocked people from
attempting to fill out the questionnaire multiple times. We got 114 filled
questionnaires, and out of them, we removed 3 questionnaires due to
incomplete ones. The total number of filled questionnaires was 111.
After collecting questionnaires, we randomly selected 25 people to interview
over the telephone. 12 of the interviewees were female and 13 were
male. We tried to get their intention to join Facebook movements and check
the list listed their activities. These interviews helped to enhance the
accuracy of the questionnaire‘s data.
Secondary data were also obtained through research papers, handbooks,
newspapers, and web sources. Especially, Facebook posts helped to identify
names, cases, data, and information.
Google Forms simply analyzed the data we got from the questionnaires as a
table and graphs. To expand the analysis part, we used thematic analysis
according to subtopics and divisions of the research.
