Adjectives such as tough, independent, powerful, inexpressive and straightforward
are used to describe men. Discrimination based on cultural norms and stereotypes
starts from here. These cultural labels tied to gender expectations. Cultural norms
influence gender discrimination by describing how men and women think about
themselves within their gender role. Both men and women should feel free to be
sensitive and to be strong. We should not perceive gender as two opposing sets of
ideas
