               disadvantages of suicide for themselves and their family (Premarathna, 2019).All of

               the above are things that motivate a person to commit suicide, and being aware of it
               can help prevent such deaths in society.


               Suicide Warning Signs.

                 Frequently speaking of the good of death
                 Loss of interest
                 Neglected appearance
                 They will be able to distribute their goods and money to others.
                 Writes something about death.  For example, it may contain verse, letters, poetry,
                   isolation, grief, hopelessness and accusations.
                 Self-harm: Examples,to cut off the hand.
                 Engaged in risky behaviours.
                 Funeral arrangement.
                 Always trying to be lonely.

               Often  the  person  who  is  contemplating  or  trying  to  commit  suicide  first  tries  to
               distance himself from the things he loves or dislikes, distribute them to others, and

               pretend to like them. Often, such a person has hopelessness. For example: I don't have
               much hope for the future. I don't want to live. In addition, young people often find
               themselves  harmed  when  their  own  relationships  are  broken  or  disturbed.  Also,

               middle-aged people make frequent expressions of last will, solitude and death, and
               quotes about isolation in life. In this way, many hints are made by a person who is

               contemplating or attempting suicide, and it is important to pay close attention to these
               actions.

               5¡ Suicide Rate in the World and in Sri Lanka


               That is, in some cases this increase in suicides and in some cases decreases.  However,
               the WHO reports: Close to 800 000 people die due to suicide every year, which is

               one person every 40 seconds. Suicide is a global phenomenon and occurs throughout
               the  lifespan.  Effective  and  evidence-based  interventions  can  be  implemented  at
               population,  sub-population  and  individual  levels  to  prevent  suicide  and  suicide
