categories as economic anomaly and domestic anomaly. Accordingly, suicides
occurring in Sri Lanka are of this heterogeneous type (Mohamed Mahees, 2019).

               4. Fatalistic suicide:
This type of suicide is due to overregulation in society. Under the overregulation of
a society, when a servant or slave commits suicide, when a barren woman commits

suicide, it is the example of fatalistic suicide.

               03. Psychological and Sociological Factors that Motivate Suicide

Basically, when you look at suicidal tendencies, there are a few key factors. That is,
there are many factors that can affect a person's social, cultural, and psychological
impact primarily on suicide. These factors affect the life of a person. Accordingly,
the factors that affect suicide are identified separately.

               3.1 Social factors

Social factors were primarily presented by Emil Durkheim as the causes of suicide.
He pointed out that the individual is motivated to commit suicide through the
breakdown of important ties in one's life. In the past, the extended family was an

interconnected, loving family life, but with the developed world, the extended family
became a nuclear family, the ties of each other became strained, and the mother and

children began to feel isolated in their world. There was no one to listen to, no ideas
to share, etc. Everything is starting to become negative. The development of
selfishness and the development of self-esteem, personal weaknesses and so on have
all contributed to the survival of the individual to suicide. In addition, many young

people are prone to commit suicide. The World Health Organization (WHO) has
confirmed that most people between the ages of 15 and 44 are often susceptible to it.

The main reason for this is the love of the relationship, or the temptation to engage in
illicit affairs, or the desire to take revenge or hurt the boyfriend or girlfriend. In
addition to the social problems of unwanted sex, pregnancy, a person may be suicidal

in the hope of getting rid of problems in the household. In addition, there is
