Author Guidelines
1. Submission Process
Authors must submit their articles electronically as Microsoft Word files (.doc) via email to reviewgeography@gmail.com. Submissions should adhere to the following guidelines.
2. Submission Timeline and Originality
Articles can be submitted at any time. Accepted articles will be published in the next issue after completing the full review process. Authors must ensure the originality of their work by confirming that the manuscript is neither published nor under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submissions must be in English.
3. Length of the Manuscript
The manuscript should not exceed 5,000 words, excluding the abstract, tables, and figures.
4. Abstract and Keywords
The abstract should be concise and factual, with a maximum of 250 words. Authors should also provide up to 5 keywords that best describe the research paper.
5. Title Page
The following sections are mandatory in the title page.
- Font type: Times New Roman
- The title of the paper:IN CAPITAL LETTERS (Font size 14, bold)
- Names and affiliations of all authors and the contact information of the corresponding author. (font size 12)
- Further, if this paper has been presented in a symposium or meeting, complete related information should be given on a footnote at the title page.
6. Sections from Second Page
- Main Topics: IN CAPITAL LETTERS/ Bolt/ Font Size 12
- Sub topics: in simple letters with capitalize each first letter of the word
- Main Topics/Sections
- INTRODUCTION
- LITERATURE REVIEW
- RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
- RESULTS AND FINDINGS
- CONCLUSION
- ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
- REFERENCES (use only APA reference style)
7. Tables, Maps, and Pictures
Tables
- Avoid repeating data in tables that is already presented elsewhere in the text.
- Number tables consecutively in the order they appear in the manuscript.
- Each table must include a clear legend that explains its content without requiring reference to the text.
- All table columns should have descriptive headings.
- For secondary data, the source must be clearly cited at the bottom of the table.
Maps and Line Drawings
- Submit maps and line drawings in their final form, ready for printing.
- Ensure all maps and drawings are fully labeled and include appropriate captions.
Figures
- Scanned figures must be of high quality, with a resolution of 300 dpi, and formatted to fit the printed page dimensions of 12 x 17 cm.
8. Referencing Guidelines
Style Manual
Follow the referencing guidelines outlined in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (6th edition).
Reference List
- Provide a consolidated, alphabetical list of all books, articles, essays, and theses cited in the text, including those referenced in tables, graphs, and maps.
- If multiple works by the same author are listed, arrange them in chronological order.
Tables and Figures
- References related to tables and figures must accompany the respective table or figure.
In-Text Citations
- Use the author-date citation method. For example:
- Single author: (Konhert, 2007, p. 12)
- Multiple authors: (Kannabiran et al., 2008, pp. 175–200)
Detailed Referencing Style
- Journal Article:
Smith, J. R. (2001). Reference style guidelines. Journal of Guidelines, 4, 2–7.
- Book:
Smith, J.R. (2001). Reference style guidelines. Thousand Oaks, CA: SAGE.
- Article in an Edited Book:
Smith, J.R. (2001). Do not capitalize prepositions.

Please do not place a period at the end of an online reference.
