The use of assistive technologies in libraries is essential for facilitating
information access for people with varied abilities. In their study from 2021,
Odigie and Okube focused on the role that assistive technology plays in the
service delivery for patrons with special needs in academic libraries in Kogi
State, Nigeria. Their research's conclusions offer insightful information about
how these technologies can improve diversity and accessibility.
