The Present status of research is enlarging and is immeasurable. With numerable
problems abound. a proper research it gets enhanced and provides workable
solutions.

Social Science Research encompasses lot of things and the most significant ones
are as follows:

1. Problem solving is the most thrust of all research. These social problems
are directly felt by the people and research helps in offering solutions to
such problems and ameliorates the conditions of the people at large.
2. Social Research thrusts on social behaviour, it needs to be studied,
analysed and modified to attain certain changes for the societal good
always.
3. Development of Methodology appropriate methodology needs to be
identified and applied to bring out the desired results and research will
helps us in providing the same.
4. Social science research contributes societal development. It helps
scientific temper, creativity and innovations are developed .All these will
add up to the up scaling of knowledge and in turn upgrading of society.
5. Social science research is a tool for social planning, prediction and control
.Any action needs to be properly planned and executed .Social research
helps in designing appropriate models for social planning.
6. Formulations of new theories and revaluation of theories are already
accepted theories and are attempted by all social research. Several
theories on human behaviour, motivation, human attitudes help in
designing the suitable packages for behavioural up liftment of society.
7. Social research contribute for social welfare for the people.
8. Social Science Research catches the dynamic of social institutions and
phenomenon, they are never static, change is needed in research and it
helps in dynamically responding to social institutions.

In the present days there is a large scope for interdisciplinary research. The
collaborative research with multiple social science subjects can contribute largely
for the betterment of the human mankind. Researchers need to look into the
opportunities and work along with various subjects as it gives a new dimensions
for the knowledge as well as for the output.

The commitment and the ethics are also need to be adopted in research very
seriously. New ideas and news horizons need to be explored by the young
