Biography:

Dr. N,S Ariyarathne graduated in 2000 from University of Peradeniya and joined the Department of Political Science 2003 as a temporary assistant lecturer. In 2005 She joined with the Department of Economics, University of Ruhuna and she worked as a temporary assistant lecturer, probationary lecturer and senior lecturer Grade II. Dr. N.S Ariyarathne is a coordinator of both internal and external study programmes representing various subjects of the discipline of political science. Her research interests mainly focused on International politics, International Relations, South Asian politics, gender politics and Human Rights.
