Biography:

Mr. A.P. Santhasiri graduated from University of Peradeniya in 1992 and joined with the Department of Economics, University of Ruhuna as an Assistant Lecturer in Political Science in 1993. Currently he is working as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Public Policy. Mr. Santhasiri is the coordinator of various internal programmes in political science and long serving as the coordinator of the First Year Political Science introductory programme. He was a visiting lecturer in the Open University in political science study programmes. He was holding different capacities in student welfare and administration as a senior student counselor, academic sub-warden, etc. His research interest lays with politics of left and radical movements, political theory and comparative politics.
