Biography:

Receiving primary education from G/Indipalegoda MahaVidyala and secondary education from Sanghamitta Girl’s College, Galle. Ms. Hirosha Lakmali has a BA (Sp) in Political Science, University of Ruhuna. Lakmali graduated in 2014 with a Second-Class Upper division. She has University colours in 2011 and 2013. She was appointed as an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Political Science of the University of Ruhuna, 2015. After completing nearly six months of service at Ruhuna University she received a scholarship from University of Agder, Norway to study MSc in Development Management. She has awarded for distinguished performance in the academic year 2015/2016 at the University of Agder, Norway. She worked as an Active volunteer at LUNAR community Based Organisation, Kristians and Norway from 2015 to 2017. Ms. Lakmali was appointed as an Assistant Lecturer in Political Science in the Department of Social Sciences at the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka in 2017 December to 2019 January. At present, she works as a Lecturer (Probationary) in Political Science at the Department of Public Policy, University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka.
