Biography:

I am Janeeka Koshini de Silva, Born on 23rd Jan 1978 at Ambalangoda, in the Galle District. I had my primary and secondary educations from St/ Mary’s Convent, Matara. There after I obtained my Bachelor’s and Master Degrees from University of Kelaniya in the years 2003 & 2008. Before join to University of Ruhuna as a Probationary Lecturer I worked as a History Teacher at Colombo International School, Colombo 07 since 2003-2005. Presently I am working as a Senior Lecturer-II in the Department of History and Archaeology, UoR, undertaking undergraduate degree programmes and involve in various responsibilities in the Faculty and in the University. I am residing at Matara and married to Mr. F.T. Wawwage.
